How The Vault Works
A four-step path from creation to eternity. Each capsule is sealed, encrypted, and delivered only when the time arrives.
Sign up, verify your identity with OTP, and establish your personal vault with 2-factor authentication.
Choose a capsule type, select your recipient, and write what you've always meant to say — with gentle prompts to guide you.
Designate a trusted guardian whose role is to confirm when the time comes. A designee serves as a silent backup.
Your capsule is encrypted and sealed. Upon confirmation of passing, your message is delivered privately to your recipient.
If your payment lapses, we send three reminder emails over 14 days. If unreachable after that, your designated Designee is quietly contacted. Your recipients are never alerted prematurely under any circumstance.
Delivery requires three independent triggers: (1) inactivity detection or payment failure, (2) Designee notification, and (3) Guardian confirmation. All three must align before any message is released.
Delivery is exclusively via secure, end-to-end encrypted email. Recipients receive a private link to access their message through the TMV Recipient Portal — ensuring the message stays protected within our system.
If a Guardian or Designee predeceases you, your vault settings include a contingency flow prompting you to appoint a replacement. Annual reminders are sent to keep your vault current.
